💜 Why This Program Exists

Too many parents sit in IEP meetings outnumbered, overwhelmed, and unheard. No Parent Alone was created to change that.

This is the first parent-led advocacy membership built for and by moms of color, designed to make sure you always have support, strategy, and receipts when you need them.

FAQs

  • The IEP Files Academy™ is a 4-week, small-group training and support program for parents of children with IEPs or 504 Plans. We help parents understand their rights, organize their documentation, and learn how to advocate with confidence — so you can get your child the services and support they deserve.

    • Live Sessions: 4 weekly sessions (1 hour each) on Sundays at 6 PM ET (via Zoom).

    • Interactive Learning: Each session covers key topics like IEP basics, procedural safeguards, documentation, FERPA, and escalation tools (complaints, OCR, etc.).

    • Homework & Templates: Parents get actionable tools — including checklists, templates, and scripts — to use immediately.

    • Community Support: You’ll be added to our private WhatsApp group for daily Q&A, encouragement, and updates.

  • We run back-to-back cohorts throughout the year. Each lasts 4 weeks, with a 3-week break in between.

    • Cycle 3: November 9 – November 30, 2025

  • No. Each cohort runs as a complete 4-week program. If you miss the start date, you can join the waitlist for the next cycle.

  • Because space is limited, all sales are final. However, if you can’t attend due to an emergency, we’ll roll your enrollment to the next available cohort (must be requested before Week 2).

  • No! The Academy covers federal rights under IDEA, Section 504, and FERPA — so it’s valuable for parents in any U.S. state.
